Two male suspects arrested for vehicle theft near LBCC

Two male suspects were arrested for motor vehicle theft near Long Beach City College on Thursday, around 5:30 p.m.

According to the Lakewood Watch Commander, the theft happened in Anaheim and officers were able to halt the vehicle in Lakewood on E Centralia St. and Faculty Ave.

The two suspects came out of the vehicle and started to flee east, which led both suspects into homeowners backyards.

No injuries and no car crashes were reported.

A helicopter was following the two suspects in the stolen 2018 Ford Fusion from Anaheim and started to circle around LAC in the end.
